Archaeological testing of a proposed glamping development at Rinemackaderrig, Carrigaholt, Co. Clare was undertaken. This revealed no archaeological features or artefacts. The mapped location of monument CL065-128, a pier/jetty, was within a field some metres inland, clearly a mapping error. The monument location has since been adjusted.
