A total of seven test trenches were excavated. Trench 1 was positioned and excavated double-width with the aim of identifying ANT022:053 (Souterrain) which may have extended into the proposed development. Within Trench 7 a modern ‘cut feature’ was identified which consisted of modern dump material and plastics. This is likely related to the construction of the church itself. Nothing of an archaeological nature was uncovered.
