Archaeological monitoring was carried out at the site of a proposed land reclamation project involving the importation and deposition of subsoil and topsoil for land profiling and re-contouring purposes. The site will cover an area of about 4.5ha in an existing agricultural holding of 4.04ha at Scratenagh, Arklow, County Wicklow. No finds or features of archaeological significance were uncovered during the course of monitoring.
