The installation of a prefabricated building beside the main school at Scoil Mhuire, Abbeyside, Dungarvan, involved clearing a shelf in the footprint of the building and connecting drains. The works were within the zone of archaeological potential for Abbeyside, Dungarvan, and were monitored in July 2020, but the shelf cut did not penetrate imported topsoil and building debris associated with the 20th-century school. The cut for a drain connection encountered subsoil under the building debris and imported topsoil.
