No archaeological features were exposed in the soil stripping for a private dwelling in the vicinity of a boundary stone known as Cloch na gCrann - possibly mistakenly named from Cloch na gCeann, on which it is believed the heads of executed criminals were once displayed. The stone appeared on the 1926 O.S. map, but was not visible during a NMS survey in 1989. Nor could it be found at the time of monitoring.
