Archaeological monitoring took place from 5 to 9 October 2020 within the grounds of Nenagh Hospital due to the construction of a Covid Ward (800m²) and replacement car parking (1250m²), situated in the north-west aspect of the existing hospital, as part of emergency Covid-19 legislation. The foundation and services works achieved depths of between 0.4m and 1.8m within grounds landscaped in the 20th century.
