Archaeological test excavation took place on 17 October 2020 subsequent to an archaeological impact assessment and in advance of a farmyard development.
Five 3m-wide test trenches were mechanically excavated to the surface of the underlying natural subsoil. They amounted to a total of 123m in length and all were positioned within the footprints of the proposed farm units.
No archaeology was encountered.
