Ballaghcullia 2 was excavated in advance of construction of the N5 Ballaghaderreen to Scramoge Road Project in County Roscommon for Roscommon County Council and the TII. The excavation proved a pit, identified during Stage (i) archaeological testing (Hardy 2021), to be modern and of no archaeological significance.
