Archaeological test trenching was carried out across the site in March 2020. This course of testing followed a previous archaeological testing programme carried out to the immediate north of the current location in September 2018 under the same licence (18E0508) as part of an earlier phase of development.
A total of five trenches were mechanically investigated across the test area, which measured 112 linear metres in total. No features of archaeological potential were identified during the course of test trenching.
