Archaeological monitoring was undertaken along three separate duct routes between Drogheda and Dublin. The ducting corridors traversed predominantly rural areas, principally in Fingal and Meath, and a small portion of south Co. Louth. Monitoring commenced in July 2020 and to date, no sites, features or objects of archaeological significance have been recorded recorded in any of the monitored trenches. Monitoring will continue in 2021.
