Monitoring was carried out at this site. A detection licence (No. 18R0207) was also obtained for the use of a metal detector to enhance the recovery of metal finds. One possible archaeological feature, a pit containing metalworking waste (slag), was encountered and excavated while monitoring the groundworks associated with this scheme.
All on-site archaeological works relating to the scheme have been carried out and no further on-site archaeological mitigation is required.
