Fifteen trenches were excavated across the site in advance of the construction of a development. A geophysical survey (20R0034) informed the locations of the trenches. A metal-detection survey was also carried out (20R0065). No archaeological features were noted and geophysical anomalies identified in the survey proved to be either natural or modern. A single fragment of tin-glazed earthenware was recovered (20E0173:9:1).
