Archaeological test trenching took place in advance of construction of an agricultural building at Ballinbarney, Co. Kilkenny.
A detailed gradiometer survey was conducted under licence 20R0174; the only anomaly which was identified was at the southern end of the site. The test trenching confirmed the linear anomaly was agricultural in origin and no further finds or features of archaeological importance was identified.
