Archaeological testing was undertaken in ideal weather conditions in the beginning of June 2020. Testing comprised of the excavation of five 2m wide test trenches (T1–T5) with a total length of c.135m. Nothing of archaeological interest was recorded in any of the trenches and no artefacts were recovered during testing.
