Archaeologiocal testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed dwelling house in Prospecthill townland, Oranmore, County Galway. The on-site testing involved the excavation of five trenches through the site. No features and/or finds of archaeological significance were encountered and no artefacts were recovered from the spoil. Due to the location of the site, c. 60m from recorded monument GA094-012, and the record of finds from the general area, it was recommended that all future ground disturbance at the site should be archaeologically monitored.
