Archaeological pre-development testing was undertaken at the site of the proposed new school development at Rinmore townland, Renmore, Galway, on 3 and 4 June, 2020, in compliance with Conditions of Planning from Galway City Council. The proposed development site is located outside the Zone of Notification for GA094-030001, milestone.
The mechanical excavation of eleven trenches through the area of a proposed school buildings did not result in the discovery of heretofore unknown or unrecorded archaeological features or finds.
