Archaeological testing was undertaken at the site of the proposed development at Lydacan townland, Claregalway Co. Galway, on 28 February, 2020, in compliance with a Further Information Request from Galway County Council.
The mechanical excavation of six trenches through the area of a proposed dwelling house, a proposed garage and a proposed driveway did not result in the discovery of heretofore unknown or unrecorded archaeological features.
