Test trenching was carried out in the area of a proposed development site located partially within the Zone of Notification/Archaeological Potential of enclosure GA970-02. The archaeological assessment recorded no features above ground in the area of the proposed development associated with the recorded monument. Testing revealed no features and/or finds of archaeological significance. The stratigraphy encountered was comprised of natural layers of sod and subsoil overlying the natural grey gritty clay.
