Archaeological monitoring of ground works took place at Lucan Road on 26 August 2020. Monitoring follows a previous course of test trenching carried out by David McIlreavy in October 2019.
The demolition of a house and former basement area left a deep footprint at the site before monitoring works commenced. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed during monitoring.
