Archaeological monitoring was undertaken here between March 2019 and March 2020. All groundworks associated with the development were monitored. This included monitoring of demolition of the house and commercial shed and excavation of 3 boreholes, 6 trail trenches and a service trench. In general, stratigraphy consisting of concrete flooring and layers of brick and rubble overlying a made-up ground was exposed. The natural consisting of yellow-green clay was uncovered at a depth of 1.2-1.4m.
No features of archaeological significance were identified, and no finds were recovered.
