Ground works associated with the construction of new farm buildings were monitored on December 1 and 2 2020. The development was located c. 45m south of a ruined tower-house, of which only the north-east wall survives, standing four storeys high. Part of an existing farm roadway and remains of 19th/20th-century farm buildings were removed by machine. The lower courses of the south and east walls of these buildings survived, but the remainder had previously been removed. Within the walls the floors were of modern concrete. Below that was the natural light orange clay.

No archaeology was found.
