Pre-development test trenching was carried out having been commissioned by O’Toole and Starkey on behalf of their client WGK Homes Ltd in relation to a proposed development at 60 Plantation Mews, Lisburn. Testing was carried out across the entire development area, in line with an approved programme of works under planning reference LA05/207/0909/F.

A total of 5 trenches were excavated across the site. Trenching revealed that topsoil overlay an orange/brown sandy subsoil and no archaeological features or deposits were uncovered.
