Monitoring was carried out on behalf of The Thatch Pub, Ferns, County Wexford as a follow up to an archaeological assessment in relation to an extension to the rear of the pub. The extension was located within the zone of archaeological potential of the 13th-century Ferns Castle (WX015-003001) and earlier ringwork (WX015-003007). Monitoring found no features or finds of archaeological significance.
