Groundworks associated with a new farm building and yard at Matthewstown, Fenor, Co. Waterford, were monitored in 2019. A recent field boundary ditch was recorded on the site of the new building, and traces of a known fulacht fiadh were found in the yard area, where most of the recent ploughsoil was left in situ. Discoloured silt in the south-east corner of the new building footprint suggests another fulacht is nearby.
