Archaeological pre-development testing was undertaken at Killeen townland, Meelick, Swinford, on 20 May, 2020, in response to a Further Information Request from Mayo County Council. Eight trenches were mechanically excavated through the site a proposed single dwelling house. All trenches were excavated to undisturbed natural and no features or finds of archaeological interest were discovered.
