Monitoring was conducted on part of the Portlaoise Watermains Rehabilitation Scheme in the townlands of Moneyballytyrrell and Borris Little, Co. Laois on behalf of Irish Water. Monitoring of new pipe trenching and pipe decommissioning at Ridge Road, Park View, St Brigid’s Place and Dr Murphy Place, just outside the historic town (LA013-041), revealed no archaeological deposits or artefacts.
