Archaeological test-excavations took place following a Request for Further Information from Kildare Co. Council. Parts of the site had been subject to earlier construction traffic and spoil storage. A total of eleven trenches were mechanically excavated across the site under archaeological supervision. No material or features of archaeological interest were identified during test trenching.
