Archaeological monitoring along the route of the Upper Liffey Valley Sewerage Scheme commenced in October 2019. This scheme comprises an upgrade of various elements of the ULVSS, including the design, construction, and commissioning of gravity sewers, pumping stations, storm handling facilities and rising mains in greenfield and urban areas in the vicinity of Sallins, Clane, Naas, and Newbridge in Co. Kildare.
To date no archaeology has been found. Work will continue into 2020.
