The ground works comprised the topsoil stripping for 3 turbines within the limits of Beennanaspuck townland. The peaty soil ranged in depth from 0.5m to a maximum depth of 1.5–2m. The natural subsoil across the site varied from a grey to yellowish-grey boulder clay throughout. Archaeological monitoring of other ancillary works included associated hardstands for cranes, access roads and borrow sites as well as monitoring of an electrical cable ducting trench were also carried out. No archaeological features, deposits, stratigraphy or artefacts were recorded.
