Pre-development testing was carried out of a social housing development site at Farranwilliam on the southern side of the village of Ardfert, Co. Kerry. Four trenches were excavated across the site during the course of the testing. Extensive evidence of at least two phases of drainage works on the site was recorded. No archaeological features or strata were identified.
