Archaeological pre-development testing at the site of a proposed development at No. 58 Shantalla Road, Galway, was carried out over a two day period on 27 and 28 August, 2019, in response to Conditions of Planning issued by Galway City Council. The works did not result in the discovery of heretofore unknown or unrecorded archaeological material. No artefacts of archaeological significance were recovered during the testing.
