Archaeological monitoring of pipelaying groundworks was carried out between 5 September and 3 October 2019 along the R132 at Balrothery village, Balbriggan, County Dublin. A 2015 desktop assessment (F. Bailey) of the site recommended monitoring of works within the zone of archaeological potential for the historic settlement at Balrothery (DU005-057). Nothing of archaeological significance was identified. No further mitigation is deemed necessary.
