Excavation was undertaken to resolve features containing archaeological materials which were identified by Dr. Niall Colfer of Archaeology and Built Heritage under Licence Ref. 17E0533, in November 2017. The features were attributed to changes in the landscape of this portion of the site in the last 30 years as they contained a mix of medieval, post-medieval and modern finds.
