Ten trenches uncovered the heavily disturbed remains of walls, foundations, drains and a well associated with the 1841 workhouse and fever hospital. The walls that were uncovered did not form part of the main workhouse building, but rather were part of the boundary, yard and garden walls. A single fragment of wall and a well associated with the fever hospital were also excavated.
No other archaeological material was uncovered.
