Archaeological monitoring was carried out in August and September 2019 of water pipe laying along St Patrick’s Quay, Camden Place and Camden Quay, Cork City within the North East and North Central City Wards. The extreme western end of the scheme is located within the Zone of Notification for RMP site CO074-034001 (Historic town). No archaeological material was observed; the quay area has been built up with sterile imported subsoil.
