Testing was undertaken of a proposed development site at Ballinvriskig. Twenty-two trenches were excavated within the site representing almost 2000 linear metres. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were noted within any of the excavated trenches. Ploughsoil was removed to a depth of 0.3-0.4m and directly overlay the natural which consisted of a bright orange stoney clay.
