Monitoring was carried out on part of a sports ground development. Testing was carried out on the site in 2015 and a burnt spread was identified. The burnt spread is not within the area of the current development. A small deposit of burnt spread material less than 3m in diameter was revealed at the eastern end of the site in wet boggy ground. It is proposed to excavate this material in advance of development.
