Monitoring of the removal of soils in an area close to a levelled ringfort (CO065-0170), prior to the construction of a new games pitch, indicated that soils had been removed to below subsoil levels in the past to facilitate the construction of the existing tennis court on the site. The removal of a steep bank of redeposited soils was also monitored. Monitoring took place over the course of two days in 2019. No archaeology was found.
