Archaeological testing was carried out on the site of a proposed new dwelling at Newhall, Ennis, Co. Clare. Test trenching, which targeted a linear earthwork visible on aerial photographs, revealed a post-medieval or modern ditch and modern drains. The earthwork apparently related to these drainage features. No other features or deposits were encountered.
