Monitoring was carried out during groundworks associated with a single house development at Kilquane, Shanaway Road, Ennis, Co. Clare. The development site is located partly on the site of CL033-065 (cashel), with a small portion of the cashel remaining standing to the south of the site. No archaeological material was revealed during the monitoring and it appears that this part of the monument was entirely destroyed in the mid- to late 20th century.
