Seven test trenches were excavated on the site of ARM 030:024, an enclosure in Cullaville. An undesignated circular enclosure c.40m in diameter is marked on the OS 6-inch map of 1835. The area is now west-facing pasture and no trace of the feature survives. The site was planted with trees and may have been a rath or a landscaping feature.
No archaeological material was uncovered in any of the trenches, with bedrock being exposed just under the surface.
