Archaeological test trenching and excavation was carried out at Carrickvale, Lurgan, Co. Armagh between 21 October and 20 November 2019. Archaeological material was uncovered in two of the trenches on the eastern side of the site; this was identified as the remains of a post-medieval brick clamp, an early method of firing bricks.
