The archaeological site at Glenmona consisted of a truncated burnt mound and rectangular trough.
The radiocarbon dates indicate that this burnt mound dated to the Early to Middle Bronze Age, with an Early Bronze Age date (2347 - 2190 cal. BC) being returned from the trough and a Middle Bronze Age date (1683 - 1521 cal. BC) from the burnt spread.
