Archaeological test trenching was carried out here having been commissioned by Apex Housing Association Limited, relating to a planning application for the proposed development of the site at Areema Drive, Dunmurry under planning reference LA04/2018/2726/F to provide for the construction of a Social housing development of 20 semi-detached dwellings and 2 apartments.

Test trenching was carried out across the entire development site. A total of 11 test trenches were excavated. No archaeological features, remains or deposits were identified during the evaluation works.
