No archaeological features or artefacts were noted during the monitoring of ground works related to the instillation of a gas main within the vicinity of Dunnamona motte (National Monument number 560). Approximately 360m of pipeline were excavated over two days and trenching was carried out within the road carriage to the east side. The trench in this area measured c.0.9m wide by c.1.3m deep. Monitoring in relation to the remainder of this project is being carried out under Licence no. 18E0094.
