Monitoring of ground works associated with the construction of a wind turbine at Turraheen Upper, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary was carried out by Tobar Archaeological Services on 28 and 29 May 2018. Monitoring of topsoil removal did not reveal any archaeological features, finds or deposits. Monitoring showed that the land within the site boundary had been subject to some reclamation work and evidence of recent agricultural activity in the form of plough furrows. Topsoil was relatively shallow over much of the site which when removed revealed a bright orange natural.
