Monitoring was carried out in advance of construction of a single residential dwelling in the vicinity of SL016-001001-006, Cliff-edge fort, hut sites and souterrain. A previous detailed Archaeological Assessment Report was carried out for this site and submitted as part of the planning process.Monitoring was carried out based on planning conditions implemented as a result of initial report. Metal detecting of topsoil stripped was carried out as a result of recommendations from NMI. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered during the course of monitoring.
