Development involved the reduction or removal of overgrown vegetation, the excavation of shallow pits for a line of fencing, and the excavation of a series of drills, spaced approximately 8m apart, for tree planting and drainage. Excavation was carried out by a mechanical digger housing a narrow bucket. The direction and depth of the drills varied according to ground conditions.
No archaeological features or artefacts were revealed as a result of carrying out the monitoring.
