Testing of the site of a proposed factory extension at Mullaghadun, Monagahan was undertaken on foot of a recommendation in an assessment and in order to comply with planning condition 12. Testing was carried out on 29 November 2018. Fifteen archaeological test trenches were excavated on the footprint of the proposed road, car park and proposed building/office, approximately 520 linear metres of testing. Natural was exposed at the base of all test trenches and no archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered.
