The area for a proposed single residential development was located within the vicinity of MA040:012, Enclosure, which is located c.13.7m from the northern boundary for the site and MA040:011, Enclosure, located c.73.9m to the north of the site boundary. There is a distance of c.37.8m between the two enclosures. Both enclosures are located on a high ridge with good views of surrounding landscape.
As part of assessment a series of test trenches was excavated across area of proposed development. No evidence for any finds, features or deposits were uncovered during the course of testing.
